Registration and way of payments

Registration procedure

The registration office-reception will be open on Saturday, July the 30th from 1 PM till 7 PM and continue the next day from 9 AM, located on the ground floor of AK Celje.

The reception opening hours for the following days will be defined latter and announced on Sunday afternoon.

The registration process is performed by the participant listed in the online registration as a “First Name” on the “Registration Form for Participants” (an accountable person-payer).

The organizer will request identification by Identity card / Passport per each participant-guest.

During the registration procedure, the camp pitch number will be selected from the camp map. Some of pitches do not have electricity connector.

The participant (accountable person) will receive the bag with a T-shirt and some information flyers.

Within the registration procedure will be performed registration of each participant, camping duration time (Check-In, camp pitch nr., number of persons, …), usage of the hangar / glider outdoor, … etc.

The proof of advance payment (bank payment order) is desired.

Making a payment by Cashless Card (EGGOS system)

As part of the registration, it is mandatory to activate at least one Cash Less Card per accountable person (payer).

The card ID number will be the basis for charging for take-offs (winch, Aero-Tow/altitude) per glider registration mark (assigned accountable person-payer).

The same card will be used as a means of payment (i.e., cost collector) for the drinks and entries on to organized events.

The card is designed as a memory card. The total value of consumption (the costs) will be visible on each printed bill when the card will be used.

For a more detailed review of consumption by items, you can ask for print out on the reception desk.

The cost of card activation, including card, is 5€.

Billing and payment

The payment needs to be performed by an accountable card(s) owner at check-out time according to invoicing specification-items.

Payment of services will be possible by bank card (debit/credit) or by cash.

Farewells and departures

Vintage gliding will happen every day, weather permitting. There will be a briefing every morning at 10:00. First tow available at 11:30, last tow at 17:00.

Link between VGC and Aeroklub Celje

Hangaring

The Club owns three hangars of a total area of 3000m2. We will do our best to enable the use of hangars to the maximum number of gliders possible. We estimate there will be room for about 50 aircraft. However, since the weather can be very stormy at the time of the event, we encourage the participants to use the opportunity and use the hangars.

Parking for trailers in the hangar is not possible.

We kindly ask all the owners of planes to bring all the equipment for easier manipulation of gliders in the hangars.

CAUTION: According to the list published in VGC International Rally Guidelines, the advantage of using the hangars will have gliders registered until 31.05.2022. After this date, the use of hangars will be possible according to free places and depending on the date of application.

Camping

Camping with caravans and tents will be possible. There will be pitches with electricity and without. For caravans, a place to empty of chemical toilets will be available. There will be enough toilets and showers (according to the VGC International Rally Guidelines).

CAUTION: Only received application until 31.05.2022 will be provided with a camping pitch with electricity. 

Flying Requirements

Any pilot who wishes to fly as PIC at the VGC Rally at Celje must conform to the following requirements:

Documentation

The following documents should be available:

  • Proof of VGC membership

  • Proof of Glider Registration

  • Glider Insurance documentation

  • EASA ARC or Appropriate C of A

  • Pilots’ logbook

  • A Current Medical Certificate

  • Pilots who wish to Instruct in their own two-seaters should have a copy of their Instructing Qualification available

  • Pilots wishing to carry passengers – please get your logbook signed by your FI(S) stating that you are qualified to carry passengers and stating the launch methods to be used.

Currency

As an organizer we urge, pilots should comply with the following currency requirements:

  • EASA SPL Recency Requirements stated at SFCL.160

  • They have at least two starts, in the way they will use at the event in the last six months.

Organizer Aeroklub Celje will be happy to give check flights to those who are either not current or feel they need a check flight for whatever reason. We will perform a check flight on Blanik, aero tow to 400m with EASA FI(S), cost 80 € and with EASA FE(S) 105 €. You should book the Check flight at least two days in advance
